Well this summer has certainly been a scorcher but it shouldn’t stop us from doing a little party planning! If you are looking for some new ways to beat the heat try one of the unique summer parties below:

If you are looking to host something a little more upscale, maybe for a shower or birthday, the above items are a great place to start. Candle lit picnic tables, fresh made lemonade, white paper lanterns…all great components for a beautiful summer soiree.

A great way to celebrate summer with friends and family is with a little outdoor movie viewing! Have attendees each bring a set of pillows and blankets while you provide some tasty treats.
Ice Cream Social
A summer classic, ice cream socials are great for all kinds of events, and won’t put a dent in the bank either. Provide a couple different flavors and a small toppings table and you are good to go, and staying cool all at the same time!
