at peace

School’s out.
Summer vacation is in.

I am at peace.

Can’t see the bottom of my desk, workspace, or mail bin
But summer vacation is here.

I am at peace.

No hurrying out the door or waking up kids.
Lazy days.

I am at peace.

My girls surround me.
Running errands in pajamas.

Lunch.  A movie.
No where to be.

I am at peace.

A mid-afternoon game of “ponopoly.”
Summer vacation is here.

I am at peace.

What’s in Her Bag: Alison Heckard, of Bird in Flight Photography
The bag. Lowepro Flipside 400AW Which lens is your go-to? It really depends on what I am shooting! For newborns, I would definitely say my 50 1.4 is what I use the most, but for outdoor maternity, families, and weddings I primarily use my 70-200. Which item is your most used? Definitely my Expodisc. I […]
