International Image Competition

How did the NAPCP Image Competitions change?
  • Our traditional member-exclusive International Image Competition will be taking place in December 2019. This competition will have three judges, with final scores and optional critiques available online. The categories have not changed.
Can I still see my scores?
  • Members may create a new login through our judging platform, Submittable, or use one of their own social logins to submit imagery. Scores will be emailed to members when judging is complete via the email address associated with the account they used when submitting.
Are critiques available for both competitions?
  • Critiques will be available for the International Image Competition. These are an additional fee and a great way to get professional feedback on images, in order to learn and grow as an artist.
How do I enter?
  • Visit NAPCP.com and select Digital Image Competition from the Competition drop-down menu. When the competition is open for submissions there will be a link to submit.
Is there a limit on the number of entries?

There is no limit on the number of entries as long as all submissions follow the required guidelines.

Members are allowed to enter TWO free images during our free entry week only (December 9 – December 15). All other images will need to be submitted during the paid period (December 16 – December 30).

Can I enter the competition if I’m not a member?
  • Our Digital International Image Competition is only open to NAPCP members and is for the purpose of learning and growing through scores and critiques. If you’d like to enter, please join us!
Am I eligible for the Photographer of the Year award?
  • The Prestigious Photographer of the Year award is only open to NAPCP members (join here). The majority (75%) of the points for this award are awarded based on points earned from placed and merit images in BOTH competitions. There is also consideration given for community participation, professionalism, and online presence.
