The NAPCP Mentorship Program connects industry leaders and educators with NAPCP photographers for the purpose of fostering growth and development. This program provides a valuable opportunity for mentees to learn from experienced photography business owners, gaining insights on specific topics, guidance and support along their professional journey.
Why should I be a NAPCP Mentor?
We invite you to apply to be a mentor in the NAPCP Mentorship Program, an exclusive, invitation-only opportunity to shape the next generation of photography business owners. As a mentor, you’ll have the unique chance to amplify your influence within the industry. This is a prestigious educator-leadership role where you’ll be in front of a highly motivated, captive audience eager to learn from the best. With a low barrier to entry—no course creation required—you can focus on sharing your expertise and insights in a direct, impactful way. As a mentor in our inaugural class, you’ll be recognized as one of a select group chosen for this opportunity, strengthening your reputation as a respected professional in our field of photography. NAPCP MENTORING REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years in business
- Expertise in a niche area
- Natural teacher
- Loves to connect, support and lift others up
- Organized, schedule-oriented, and a great communicator
- Pro subscription to virtual meeting software like Zoom, Google Meets, etc.
- Dedicated 2-4 hours availability each week
NAPCP MENTORSHIP COMMITMENTS
- Participate in a mentorship coaching program by Alice Park or Erika Holifield
- 6 month service – Jan – June OR July – December
- Must provide marketing content (images, videos, etc) so NAPCP can promote
PAYMENT STRUCTURE
- NAPCP Mentor designates their hourly mentoring rate. (Between $250/hr – $500/hr)
- 25% of each mentoring session fee will go to NAPCP
- Mentors agree to not to solicit or continue mentoring the assigned mentee outside of the NAPCP platform for the duration of the 6-month term and for a 1 year non-compete period afterward. This is to protect the integrity of the program while keeping the door open for future collaboration.
- Mentors will be paid at the end of each month depending on how many sessions they completed within that timeframe.
