Here are a few facts:
Kids love looking at albums.
Parents love looking at albums.
Girlfriends/Boyfriends and spouses love looking at their significant others albums.
There are few things more enjoyable than snuggling up with a loved one with an album in your lap. The best part of archiving your professional photographs in an album is that you can pretty much guarantee that when your child grows up and shows their spouse the album they won’t be embarrassed by the photos 🙂
Albums tell a story of love and family. There are no loose prints, only beautiful pages bound together.
Types of Albums
I cannot speak for everyone, but I personally love Flush Mounted albums. These are the albums that have each individual page printed on archival photo paper. Each page is mounted to a board. This allows for those thick sturdy pages.
Some photographs also offer matted albums. Each page is a mat with wholes cut out for the photographs. The prints are printed through your photographer’s lab and then inserted into the mats.
Albums will never go out of style. They have been around as long as photography. And if your albums are cared for properly, they will be around for your future generations to cherish and admire.

– Always store photos and albums at room temperature.
– Never expose photos or albums to sunlight, extreme heat or moisture. Be especially careful if you live in areas with high humidity.
– Use a clean white 100% cotton lint-free dry cloth to dust albums and presentation boxes or simply brush with your (clean and dry) hand.
– Do not use water or any liquid to clean albums or presentation boxes.
– Natural pages and mats can easily be cleaned with a WHITE eraser only (Available at any art supply store). Do not us a white eraser on album pages that are photo paper.
