Every year I get together with my local photographer friends and we do a back to school photo shoot! I found this desk last year and had been looking forward to using it since then. I wanted the images to be modern with a bit of a old school feel. The kids were excited all day for this shoot. There was apples and drawing and paper airplane making! The kids all had a blast and so did we!It never rains here but unfortunately it had all afternoon and night the day before so we were hounded by mosquitoes throughout the shoot. We had one mom run to the store for bug spray and after that the kids carried on without a problem! As much as I enjoy doing these yearly shoots it is a sad reminder of how fast time flies and to enjoy the first day of school excitement for as long as they will let us!
