Live Shoot with Rya Duncklee
Have you ever wanted to try to incorporate video into your photo sessions but don’t know where to start? Join Rya on a live demo as she shares her best practices and tips for seamlessly integrating video into your portrait sessions, all while using one camera! Rya will go over some basic gear needed to help you get started, as well as share what techniques work best for creating short video clips while shooting still images.

Rya Duncklee is an award-winning childrens portrait artist based in Jacksonville, Florida who specializes in first year milestones and video storytelling. She has been recently awarded as one of the Top 20 Newborn Portrait Artists in Jacksonville, and has been the recipient of seven NAPCP International Image Competition Awards.
Rya is a proud member of the National Association of Professional Child Photographers (NAPCP) and is the interviewer for the NAPCP Video Interview Series. She is also an accredited member of the Professional Photographer’s Association (PPA).
When Rya’s not documenting moments in time for families, she enjoys traveling, cooking and DIY projects with her hubby in their new home.

Sarah Lane is the International award winning senior portrait artist behind Sarah Lane Studios and Studio Twelve, located in the beautiful Napa Valley. Sarah’s signature style and ability to showcase the unique personality of each senior, has made her one of the most influential and sought after senior portrait artists on the West Coast. Her work has been highlighted and featured in several magazine publications this year alone, and she has been awarded as one of the Top 5 Senior Portrait Artists in the country. Sarah teaches photographers from all around the world at the NAPCP (National Association of Professional Child Photographers) Retreat, Teen Summit (Senior Style Guide) and other well-known and respected industry conferences. She is globally recognized for her incredibly successful Studio Twelve Senior Model program and elaborately styled creative shoots. Sarah is also the founder of the Perfectly Imperfect Project that gives teens the chance to share their struggles and victories in order to bring hope and healing to their generation.

About the Contributor: Deanne is a graphic designer and photographer. She graduated in 2005 from Northern Illinois University with a BFA in Visual Communication . Before joining the NAPCP team, Deanne worked at a small advertising agency for ten years where she grew as an artist. She also started her own small photography business in 2010 and has a passion for photographing children and documenting life. Currently, she is working for NAPCP as the Design Production Assistant and is excited for new opportunities to bring her love of design and photography together. Deanne resides in the Chicagoland area with her husband and three year old son. When she is not working, you can find her photographing or doing multiple home improvement projects.
