21 Aug NAPCP’s Photography Adventure in Banff, Canada — August 2025
Last week, our NAPCP community traded the studio lights for some of the most breathtaking natural backdrops in the world — the Canadian Rockies! Our Banff Itinerary
Day 1: Monday, August 4 – Welcome to Banff
We arrived, settled in, and kicked off our trip with a warm welcome dinner at The Fat Ox. It was the perfect opportunity to connect, share our goals for the week, and get excited about the adventures ahead. We walked back to the hotel and got a good night’s sleep before starting our adventures the next day.
Day 2: Tuesday, August 5 – Lake Louise & Gondola Sunset
- Early breakfast in the hotel before heading to Lake Louise (45-minute scenic drive).
- Options for the day included the hike to the Lake Agnes Tea House or afternoon tea at the iconic Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise.
- Evening: Rode the Banff Gondola to the summit for panoramic views and a sunset boardwalk stroll before dinner at Northern Lights Alpine Kitchen.
Day 3: Wednesday, August 6 – Mastermind & Downtown Banff
- Brunch at Bluebird Café followed by a NAPCP Mastermind Roundtable, diving into business growth strategies and creative inspiration. (Tip: Get the pancakes! You won’t regret it!)
- Afternoon shopping and exploring in downtown Banff — from charming boutiques to local coffee shops.
- Dinner at Bear Street Tavern before a relaxing evening of photo editing in the lobby and then a trip to the Banff Hot Springs.
Day 4: Thursday, August 7 – Moraine Lake & Astrophotography
- Morning drive to Moraine Lake via shuttle from Lake Louise Inn. This turquoise jewel of the Rockies is a dream location for both landscape and portrait work.
- Evening: Late-night astrophotography session with the incredibly talented Jennifer Kapala, capturing the Milky Way above Banff’s rugged peaks.
Day 5: Friday, August 8 – Farewell Banff
We packed up our gear and our memories, already planning our next NAPCP adventure.
