Favorite Movie: I love movies in general so it may be hard to pick just one  … A few that I can watch time and time again would be Good Will Hunting, Braveheart, Meet the Parents, What Lies Beneath, and We’re The Millers. If I had to choose a favorite TV show, it would be The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Not only is she hilarious, but her show promotes being kind to one another, and that is something we need much more of in today’s world.
Favorite Book: The Untethered Soul by Michael A. Singer. This book has inspired me on so many levels. It is a brilliant read!
Favorite Lens: For sharpness it would have to be the Sigma 50mm 1.4 Art, but for bokeh I would choose my Nikon 135mm 2.0 DC lens.

Favorite Magazines: National Geographic, Cooking Light, and for a lazy read, People Magazine.
Favorite Website or Blog: Humans of New York pulls me in with every story line! I also love checking out DIY projects on www.hgtv.com or www.marthastewart.com.
Favorite Music: My husband is always teasing me for listening to boy band music in the car (guilty!), but I really enjoy all types of music. My go to artists are usually Michael Jackson, Coldplay, The Verve, Adele, and Michael Bublé.
Favorite Store: Urban Outfitters. I could spend hours in their store and/or on their website.

Favorite Local Spot: We have a beautiful state park in our town called The Quarry. There are miles of trails for hiking, rock climbing, as well as little beaches with swimming spots. It is one of my kids’ favorite spots in the area.

Photographer Idol: I don’t know if I have an “idol” per say. But I really enjoy the work of Elena Shumilova, Jessica Drossin, and Adrian McDonald (to name a few!)!
Favorite Instagram Accounts: Two of my favorites to follow are @hilvees and @eljackson; they are a married couple that travel the globe and share the most amazing images of their adventures.
Favorite Pinners on Pinterest: Ordinary Traveler, Steph :: Modern Parent Messy Kids, Christine Martinez Loya.
Favorite Quotation: “Be fearless in the pursuit of what sets your soul on fire.” – Unknown
Most Interesting Place I’ve Traveled: Out of all the countries/states I’ve traveled to I would say the most interesting is when I lived in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii for a few years. The island has so many beautiful and unique things about it such as volcanic tubes to hike through, green, black and white sand beaches, hot springs, hidden waterfalls/pools … I could go on and on!
Favorite Family Vacation Spot: Any vacation where we are by an ocean/water.
Guilty Pleasure: The TV show The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. I am addicted. And wine of course.
If money were no object, my occupation would be: A movie critic.
What Makes Me Memorable: I would like to say I’m memorable because I am charming and exude professionalism. But in reality it is probably due to the weird accents I talk in and because I laugh way too loud.
Favorite Personal Photo: I always smile when I look at this photo of my dad and I. I think I was about 5 or 6 years old. I had a wonderful childhood, and even at a young age I knew I was lucky to have such kind and caring parents. My dad is very musical and used to play the piano for my brothers and I every night as we drifted off to sleep. We loved to sit on his lap and pretend we were playing right along with him.

Favorite Professional Photo: I had to choose two favorite images. The first I love because of the simplicity. The little boy’s eyes just draw you in and it almost has a peaceful quality to it.

The second photo has always been one of my favorites and I can never pinpoint exactly why. It just makes me happy and reminds me of how beautiful childhood is. I don’t like to force expressions, but rather just capture children as they are. I love being able to provide a family with memories that they will cherish and that showcase who they are at a specific moment in time.
